Let's face it. A world without trees would be bleak indeed. But if you don't believe it then here are the top ten reasons to plant a tree.

#2: Trees cool the air around us in the hot summer time.

#3: Trees block winter's savage wind from beating into our homes.

#4: Trees breath out what we breath in. Ever notice how much better you breath where there are plenty of trees?

#5: Trees provide shelter for all sorts of wildlife.

#6: Trees provide food for animal and human alike.

#7: Trees are fun to climb, swing from, sleep under and simply to sit beside and daydream.

#8: Trees provide the materials needed for furniture, homes and many other necessary items.

#9: Trees make a yard inviting.

#10: Trees calm the irritated soul simply by being there.
